What we collect

We collect your sign-in identity and email; profile information such as display name, birth date, motorcycle details and preferences; posts and uploaded media; ride listings and participation; private messages; reports; Road Help requests and chat; and approximate or user-submitted location information used for rides and Road Help. Exact home addresses should never be posted. We also record signed-in visit dates and last activity times to measure community participation. Activity counts are available only to the owner.

How it is used

We use this information to operate accounts and requested features, personalize profiles, display community content, coordinate rides and non-emergency help, process reports, prevent abuse, secure the service and communicate about MotoBeacon. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers and sharing

Information is shared only as needed with service providers that host, secure, authenticate or process MotoBeacon features, with other users when you choose to post or share information, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users and the service. Payments made through an external checkout are processed by that payment provider under its own privacy terms.

Your choices

You control community and dating visibility from your profile. You can permanently delete your account and associated activity from the profile page. You may also use the external request path at MotoBeacon account deletion.

Retention and safety

Active account information is retained while needed to provide the service. Account-associated content is deleted when an account is deleted, except limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or the protection of other users. Reported content may be reviewed for safety. MotoBeacon uses reasonable safeguards and HTTPS in transit, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children and age-restricted features

MotoBeacon is not designed for children. Biker Dating is an incidental feature limited to users who are at least 18 years old. A birth date is used to enforce that restriction and is not displayed in full.
